The Grosvenor is a 17th century former Coaching Inn. Originally one of 17 pubs in the village, it now stands as one of only two that remain. It’s steeped in history and was once a thriving coaching in for travellers making their way to and from London. In some senses not much has changed, albeit there are fewer horses and more cars. There’s still plenty of beer, perhaps a little less debauchery, more pies and glass tankards as opposed to metal ones.
We're in the thick of the English Countryside, there is an abundance of good rambles, cycle routes and local places to visit. There are also plenty of great pubs and cafes nearby, too.
